The debut album by Kevin Coyne came out in 1971 on the John Peel’s Dandelion Records. A social therapist by profession, but also painter and writer, Coyne stands out as a kind of an “anti-star” of the 70s. Unique guttural blues-like voice, uncomfortable topics and unorthodox song structures, made Case History a prime source of inspiraton for ? among the others ? John Lydon, Ben Watt, and Will Oldham.
